The designers at Oscraps have joined together and made a wonderful Warm And Cozy collaboration kit. I love the color palette on this kit: hot cocoa, coffee latte and a splash of blue.
Here's a layout I've made with this kit - featuring the most warm and cozy I have in my home: Mario and Luigi.
I haven't made a resolution in years, but lately my sister's been talking about not shopping for clothes for a year. Well - me being me, still wearing the same pajama I've had for like 5 years - not buying clothes would be just plain silly. But since the general idea is not to spend money on things you really don't need ... I ended up with a resolution more suitable for me:
Translation: My resolution for 2012 is that I won't shop for any more supplies for digital scrapbooking. I have tons already that I haven't used, and I have my CTs. I HAVE ENOUGH!
Only a couple of days now: Christmas Eve is coming. In Sweden we celebrate Christmas on the 24th. We don't make much fuss about it. Really we just eat, eat, eat, and then eat some LOL
If I'm going to share some LOs about Christmas, what is more appropriate than to begin with a LO about my first Christmas? Here's Christmas 1967:

Translation: Christmas 1967 It's my first Christmas and I'm 9 months old. Apparently I've been given some kind of horse, but I do not look happy. Unbelievable to see how young mom looks. She's 31 years old here, but it looks like she's no more than 22.
9 years later I'm given a Christmas gift that was really special to me. This layout was made for a challenge at Oscraps where we were supposed to use nothing but the freebies offered in their store. Lots of goodies in the freebie section there - hop on over and treat yourself :)

Translation: It's 1976, I'm 9 years old, and it's Christmas Eve. One of my gifts are a troll. It's Lotta that has bought it for me, and she's also made some sets of clothes for her. Also she has made a wardrobe of a box and some match boxes. The wardrobe isn't anymore, but the troll is still here. Her name is Trulsa and she lives here in my craft room. She's 34 years old, but the only sign of her old age is that her hair is a bit untidy. Otherwise, she's just as beautiful as back then.
Next layout is my most recent one. I've been looking at LOs created with Anna Aspnes' designs, and been a bit intimidated. Looks so professional, and I've thought it was nothing for me. After being pressured by my friends, I decided I had to try it. And can you believe it? It's so easy to scrap with, I'm embarrassed LOL Here's a LO with my little elf - back when he was little and not a teenage mutant ;)
And I mentioned food, didn't I? Nothing like a "julbord", the special smorgasbord we make for Christmas. Here's a LO I made when I was on Digitals CT about my favorites at Christmas: the ham, the meat balls, Janssons frestelse, egg halves and prinskorv (mini sausages).
The dare this week was to scrap about food. Well, actually, there were quite a few extra stuff to think of, but no need for me to repeat them here - jump over to Digi Dare and check it out yourself :)
Translation: When I don't feel like cooking and there is no inspiration at all - then it's spaghetti and ground beef. Nothing fancy, just brown the ground beef while the spaghetti is boiling. Spices: salt, black pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. When the spaghetti is al dente, and the beef is done, just mix it together. Serve with ketchup or butter. Wonderful! This is how my mom used to prepare spaghetti when I lived at home. Only difference is that she used to add chopped onion to the beef, but I can't do that, then John wouldn't eat.
I love the colors in this collab kit - It's my favorite of all collaboration kits at Oscraps. Oh, and the font - so cool - it's my own handwriting. I got it made before when MissTiina was offering to do fonts for free. If you like it - you can get it HERE
So ... I love movies ... and hence - I've made some LOs about movies.
First, a LO about a very special movie. I love this movie! Prinsessa pĂ¥ vift is the Swedish title - meaning A Princess on the Lose. I was so happy when this was released on DVD in Sweden. Needless to say - I bought it!

Next is a movie that's not that good really LOL But it was an experience for sure. Read more about that in the translated journaling below.

Translation: Fall 1982 SVT was broadcasting The Creature from the Black Lagoon in 3D. I was 15 years old, and I thought 3D was super cool and was determined to see the movie. I was so incredibly scared! The darkness outside and the 3D effects when the monster reached out for the viewers was terrifying. And now, in July 2011, SVT broadcasted the movie again - though not in 3D this time - I was laughing. There was NOTHING scary at all. A real turkey movie!
This LO is actually from a project I started (and never finished of course) back in 2008: an ABC book of movies. Back then I was creating for Nikki Painter - she's not even designing anymore. Maybe I'll go back and finish this book some day?

Translation: Dogma is a lovely twisted movie with a great sense of humor. You can joke about everyhing, even God. That Alan Rickman has a part in the movie, don't make it any worse either.
And ... my statement in the Twilight question no. 1: Edward or Jacob?

Finally - one of my absolute favorite movies. Either you know what movie it is - or you're a total loser ;)
